CprE530 was a really interesting class to take. I’m fortunate enough to have a good grasp of pointers and arrays in C to be able to manipulate the bit values, a skill that is heavily used in this class. The final project was to dissect an incoming and outgoing packet on a network. With enough information, the program will be able to generate what socket sent to a server. However, this would not work on modern servers as most traffic data is encrypted. However, any unencrypted information sent, should be able to be decoded. Additionally, students who took the graduate variant of the class must present a pseudo research paper. I have attached mine below.
